No real surprises here. Blizzard poster Eyonix has confirmed today that both honor points and honor marks will be reset with the launch of WotLK.
As a small compensation there will be “few upgrades” “special rewards” in the next content patch (3.0.2) which you can spend the remainder of your honor points on.

Blizzard poster Ghostcrawler has made an interesting post regarding some common questions/concerns about DK tanking.
Highlights include:
Q: Is there any plans to give us spam able Aggro-generation skills back?
A: Abilities that add too much straight threat don’t scale well. Paladins would have been far and away the best tanks for threat in Sunwell if more gear had been available to them. Part of the reason is because their threat scales so well with their dps. We’d like to get away more from +threat abilities for all classes if we can.
Q: Are we supposed to be hitting the Armor Cap? Or an Avoidance cap? Because right now i do not see that happening either way and leaving us kind of… lacking mitigation.
A: No class should be close to either in Lich King. That was actually a problem in Burning Crusade — witness bears being unable to improve their tanking gear because of the armor cap and the introduction of “Sunwell Radiance” to work around excessively high avoidance values. We think it’s fine for tanks to reach the uncrittable mark, and being uncrushable is no longer an issue. Beyond that, we want you to always have a reason to improve your gear… and always be a little scared of those bosses.

Level 70 hunter Juanishi from the Tanaris realm is reporting that a party consisting of himself, mage, ret pally, resto shaman and rogue completed Mgt using his level 70 scorpid as a tank on the PTR.
No wipes until Kael… then we wiped (not due to pet but due to me pulling aggro off him like a moron… i died and so did my pet :)
Had one fight where pet died.. i rezzed him and then he regained aggro and we finished the fight with no deaths. Instant (and unlimited) tank rez when using a pet :)
This was possible due to the changes to the beast mastery tree for hunters and as Juanishi points out:
I can only imagine how much better pets will be as tanks at level 80 with the bonus points.
Interesting times (and party make ups) ahead!

Wired is reporting that the author of a bejewel inspired mod for WoW has been offered a job with PopCap.
“[Besharded] was cool and fun, but not very polished, so we reached out to the gamer in question and hired him to do an official version of Bejeweled for WoW,” PopCap representative Garth Chouteau said in an e-mail to Wired.com.
A new version of the mod is due out this Thursday and is called Besharded and should make the lives of early raid loggers a bit more tolerable.
